SPEAKING EVENTS

Would your organization like to hear a personal story of perseverance and determination?

Todd, a five-time member of the US Paralympic National Rowing Team, shares his experiences of dealing with unexpected challenges and overcoming adversity. He talks about being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at age 43 and how this impacted his relationships, his athletic performance as a rower, and his career as a rowing coach.

He talks about how he dealt with the obstacles and challenges of trying to earn a spot on the US Paralympic Rowing Team while competing against athletes half his age, and managing his Parkinson’s symptoms.

Using both humor and passion, Todd describes his path to the Paralympics and shares how he stayed focused and dealt with the challenges that came up along the way.

  • "Todd's story was an authentic and compelling addition to our Real Heroes Luncheon. His words reminded our guests it's never too late to become an inspiration. Not only were Todd's remarks well received, but he was also wonderful to collaborate with leading up to the big day."
